Vinyl Transfer
Vinyl transfers are created by transferring the design on to special heat-press vinyl material using a computer-driven plotter/cutter. After the excess material is removed, the design is then pressed on to the garment utilizing a commercial heat press. This process fuses the vinyl material to the garment. This application is the best choice when small quantities of garments with relatively simple designs are required.
Textile Transfer
This method is similar to the do-it-yourself sheets that can be purchased at a
local office supply store. We use professional-quality heat transfer
sheets, decorated digitally with heat stable pigment inks applied with a
commercial heat press. A polymer coating on the sheets allow the designs
to be transferred on to garments using a commercial heat press. This
application is the best choice with small quantities of garments where full
color designs, including photographs, are required.
Screen Printing
Screen Printing, or Silkscreening, is a process that utilizes plastisol inks pressed through stencils made from tensioned screens. This application is the best choice when large quantities are required. Screen printing requires that designs be separated by color. Initial costs include fees for color separation and screen setup.
